We first fell in love over food, travel, and the great outdoors, and soon found a way to bring those passions together by opening a small hotel and cafe in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, an epicenter for eco-tourism. When we moved back to the U.S., we dreamed about creating a new destination, this time more firmly rooted in the soil.
The idea for Firelight Camps was sparked on a camping trip with friends. We wanted everyone to experience the timeless tradition of gathering around a campfire and sleeping under the stars; to truly unplug and connect with themselves, each other, and Nature.
Today, Firelight Camps offers campers a comfortable and revitalizing camping experience. It brings us so much joy to see people relax and refresh their sense of childlike wonder, all while helping to preserve the wild, and support local farms and the greater community. We hope to see you around the campfire soon!
