While there are now many glamping experiences in New York state, we are the only glamping site in Ithaca and we take pride in Firelight Camps’ individuality. Located on the grounds of La Tourelle’s 15-acre estate, our glampground is more than just a place to stay. Things to Do at Firelight Camps
Hang Out in the Lobby and Around the Firepits: The lobby tent is the communal gathering space at Firelight, and is a great place to spend quality time with loved ones and meet fellow glampers. Walk over anytime during your stay and take advantage of our complimentary hot beverage area, potable water dispenser, and phone charging station. Borrow one of our many board games from the front desk or enjoy a round of corn hole or bocce ball in our outdoor area. And of course you won’t want to miss the nightly campfires (s’mores provided!) in the evening, as they are a highlight of the Firelight experience.
Enjoy locally sourced food & drinks: Our lobby area also holds our full-service bar and camp store, so you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks during your stay. Every morning we serve a delicious, locally-sourced continental breakfast and we sell a wide range of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages all day long. Our bar offers classic and specialty cocktails, as well as beer, wine and cider sourced from all over the Fingerlakes region.
Discover On-Site Events and Activities: One of the best things about Firelight is the wealth of experiences you can have right on our property. While you stay with us you can explore the natural wonders of the Finger Lakes via the Buttermilk Falls State Park hiking trails, which are just steps away from your tent. On Tuesday evenings you can enjoy live music in our event tent, and on Sunday evenings La Tourelle will be hosting their music series as well. Elevate your stay by adding a wild foraging hike, a forest bathing walk, or a yoga class (which can all be found on our on-site experiences page), or book a revitalizing massage or facial at August Moon Spa, located on-site at La Tourelle.
